Just Because They Grow From Boys to Men 2

Well hello there,
It's good to have you on the show with me,  you'll be glad you stopped by.*wink *
Lets get straight to it..

Jackson was a committed altar boy who also served a priest and so had access to his spare key.
One day, Jackson walked into Fr. Michael's quarters and saw a Sister's veil, dress and undies in the sitting room with strange sounds oozing from the bedroom. He then hid the veil and locked up then went to sit by the window of the bedroom singing "Ave Maria".
Fr. Michael came out and sent Jackson on an errand so as to give the Sister time to leave before his return.
When he returned from the errand, he produced the veil and kept it in a conspicuous place so that the priest would see it.
The priest calls her on phone speaking Latin then sends Jackson with the veil to her. When he got there, she locked her door and forced herself on 17 years old Jackson....
*this story is true but names have been changed *

"Sexual abuse is not common among boys"………… we hear this often.
One out of 10 boys get raped according to statistics.
But one boy gets abused and a whole generation suffers for it. I like to think of a man as a nation, one man carries in him a whole nation.

The boys start puberty between ages 9 and 12. At this stage they’re treated like they don’t matter. Exposed to bad influences in school or religious institution or maybe in the neighborhood.
While everyone is brooding over “ Ada”, “Obinna” is allowed to play outside till 10pm, he is a boy, he must learn to be a man, they’d say.

Proverbs often times will start with “my son, listen…….”
Solomon had knowledge of how important it was for his son to be taught the ways of God, not just taking him to Sunday school or S.U camps or T.O.M camps but having talks with his son.
He knew that these were good for him but he would also have to have talks with his son.
He’d call him into his bossom, go for a walk and ring into his ears the importance of not following the path of foolishness, what foolishness really is and how that usually ends in destruction.
He told his son about fearing God-not just being moral but really fear God.

Hey,Son, when last did you have a talk with your Daddy?
Are you all grown up now?
Who taught you about sex?
Who taught you how to ask a woman out?

“My dad is too strict”
“He was never around/there for me”
“He’d bring home different kind of girls every night”
“My friends tease me that I’m not man enough until I sleep with many girls”

Humble yourself son, go talk to your daddy.
Gladly you have two daddy(ies) ; one on earth, the other in heaven.
If the former fails, the latter will never fail. The stakes are so high right now.
Wisdom is scarce in our generation because you King has not risen up yet. Arise and shine Baby!

In you is a whole nation, a whole nation baby!
You can’t afford to be foolish. (foolishness is not acknowledging God)

I believe in therapy and getting help from folks around us. But the fear of “what will they say” or gossips is the beginning of dying in silence.

The Federal Government is so interested in Child abuse and is doing the best they can to curb the situation. Reach out and say something, atleast you’d save another boy child from being molested too.
Report every attempt of violation on your mind or body to a higher authority, if mummy does not listen, try daddy and if daddy does not listen, get in touch with bodies that are committed to protecting you.
Don’t keep quiet. SHOUT!!!!
SIN BREEDS IN SECRECY.

There’s a Crown on your Head
                                              Wear it Proudly
