DO IT YOURSELF: CLEANSER

1.13.2014

So you went for  your Christmas shopping and  bought that Kaygee ‘mist’ lipstick???
Or  the House of Tara foundation for that flawless look you've always wanted to achieve???
Or  That gorgeous suede sleek pressed powder??
Eye Makeup

And you forgot to get a cleanser!!!

How on earth am I going to get this makeup from my face before I sleep you ask!
Well let’s get you fixed on getting the perfect cleanser from simple things you can find in your kitchen/house.

Things you'll need:

  •  Aloe Vera gel (I used the fresh one, you can use the processed gel if you want):
Aloe Vera

Aloe vera contains a plethora of anti-oxidants like beta carotene, vitamins C and E that improve the natural firmness of skin. It keeps the skin hydrated.
It improves the skin elasticity, therefore minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Thus it refreshes the skin and makes it vibrant and young looking.

  •     Olive oil It is a great skin moisturizer, in part because it contains linoleic acid, a compound not made by the body, but which prevents water from evaporating.
    Olive OIl

  • Distilled water
  •  Blender

Method:
Step 1: using a spoon scoop aloe gel from leave into the blender.
Step 2: Add  2tbs of olive oil, you can twerk this depending on the quantity of your aloe gel.
Step 3: Add distilled water and BLEND YOUR WAY TO CLEAN SKIN.

If your acne prone you might want to add few drops of tea tree oil, (it is a potent antifungal that is often used to cure fungal infections of the nail, athlete’s foot, acne and lice. It is also a great natural antiseptic making it perfect for use on cuts, abrasions, burns, bug bites, mouth and nose infections and several other minor infections.)

Please store in the refrigerator especially if you used the real aloe-vera gel.

I did not store mine early, the smell after few days was not too pleasant but keeping it cool made it better for my delicate eye and killed the smell.

Let me know how well you love your new cleanser………….
 You can thank me later!!

    1. I asked someone to get aloe vera for me, you can buy the already processed aloe gel from natural nigerian or sizzelle store.
For the distilled water, you can boil normal water and let it cool before using it.
      Hope this will help!!:)
